Friday April 16, 2021 “Eazy Sleazy” Mick Jagger/Dave Grohl
Sir Mick pretty much covers the past year and the current situation.
In case you missed it the other day when it hit the radio airwaves, Mick Jagger wrote a song during and about the covid isolation called “Eazy Sleazy” and I guess the Stones weren’t available so Sir Mick put together a band to record it, a one man band, Dave Grohl.
You might remember from yesterday that the Foo Fighters first album/CD was effectively only Dave Grohl as he played all the instruments and he does the same thing for Mick Jagger on this tune as well.
Age of course is strictly a mental process, we are all only as old as we want to be, infirmities aside, and Jagger certainly offers the proof to that cliche. Here he is at 77, maybe showing some physical signs of the effects of age but not any loss of energy or desire to sell the fact that he may still be the best frontman in rock history.
Not much more needs to be said here except it is fun to hear Jagger reference Bill Gates, Tik Tok, Zoom and cleaning the kitchen sink...you know he has people to do that even in the age of covid. Give it a watch/listen before Bill Gates has the video pulled down.
Stay safe and well...and you will be wondering about the word ‘poncey’, so apparently it means pretentious.
