Sunday December 20, 2020 “In My Life” The Beatles

So we’re back and it’s Christmas week and we are going to get to some traditional festive songs and maybe a couple of non-traditional but still festive songs as well, all of course with the spirit of Christmas.

But first, this one is for Elaine.

Stay safe and well...and cherish those who are important to you, every day.

There are places I'll remember

All my life, though some have changed

Some forever, not for better

Some have gone and some remain

All these places had their moments

With lovers and friends, I still can recall

Some are dead, and some are living

In my life, I've loved them all

But of all these friends and lovers

There is no one compares with you

And these memories lose their meaning

When I think of love as something new

Though I know I'll never lose affection

For people and things that went before

I know I'll often stop and think about them

In my life, I love you more

Though I know I'll never lose affection

For people and things that went before

I know I'll often stop and think about them

In my life, I love you more

In my life, I love you more
