You’re welcome, now you know what they are singing...mostly.
One of the happiest songs recorded, "Send Me On My Way" was never a huge hit when it was released, but roughly a decade later it found its way to various media uses to convey a pleasant journey. It was featured in movies like Matilda and Ice Age, on the TV shows Chuck and New Girl, and in ubiquitous commercials for Enterprise Rent-A-Car, which built an ad entire campaign around the song.
The band achieved fame in 1994 with their platinum-selling album When I Woke, which included the single "Send Me on My Way". The song's pep and lightheartedness is undoubtedly responsible for its success so much so that NASA engineers chose "Send Me on My Way" as "wake up" music for the Mars robot Exploration Rover.
Stay safe and well...and I wonder if the Martians caught a listen to this tune when it hit their atmosphere.
